yep thats the ask please hurry
Which is faster a linksys wireless-g 2.4ghz, 802.11g notebook adabter or a belkin F5D6050 adapter thingy?
The Linksys is 802.11G which means up to 54mbps, while the Belking F5D6050 is an 802.11B device, or 11mbps max speed.
The Linksys is faster by give or take a few 5x.
That speed difference won't matter contained by most cases, since consumer Internet connections are much slower than the maximum of either one. If you've get 3mb DSL or cable, that's well below the maximum speed of both, But for copying files around your local grating, the Linksys will be faster. It should also support better encryption like WPA.
return with linksys there almost the same as far as speed go. linksys is top of the line though when it comes those types of hardware, smaller amount prolems.
I would go beside linksys, more reliable than belkin, have have problems with belkin wireless devices contained by the past. As far as speed the linksys is faster as in good health. The belkin is 802.11b with is max 11mbps. The linksys is 802.11g 54mbps.
i suggest using a Netgear wireless router fairly then Linksys. Netgear is usually more reliable and ultimate longer.
