PCI-X is Peripheral Component Interconnect Extended
PCI-E is Peripheral Component Interconnect Express
They are NOT duplicate thing, can someone explain why folks keep calling PCI-E , PCI-X?
Why does everyone read out PCI-X when referring to PCI-Express?
Ignorance? Because they don't fathom out the difference I guess.
It is just a shortcut when typing or discussion. Nothing more. Most people don't know the diffrence.
