Why doesn't my Mac recognise my Walkman phone?
Your phone might enjoy to be switched to USB Mode. A lot of phones won't communicate with a workstation unless it's switched to the proper mode. Aside from that you might have a inconsistent cable or ports on the phone or Mac. But I doubt this is hardware error but software as is 80% of the time. Try finding a driver to install on your mac for the phone. Your mac may need a driver earlier it realizes what on top soil is attached to it.
