just sounds close to the emulator wasn't installed properly or is incompatable with your system.
you probably will disagree to that statement, so perchance the emulator is just a dud or the one you get was bugged.
Since it's an emulator, I contemplate this should have be under software instead of hardware
Maybe you own a bad rom portrait file.
