Will a dual core computer work alright beside a unpartitioned strong drive?

Will a dual core computer work alright beside a unpartitioned strong drive?

Yes. The intricate drive partitions own nothing to do near the number of processor cores. If you don't have a specific pretext to partition your sturdy drive, then don't.
It's possible to do, but not necessarily recommended.

My landscape is that it's always preferable to separate the drive near your OS from the drive containing the data.
Yes, as silicon_rain said it doesnt situation. A dual core processor is a CPU with two separate cores on duplicate die, each near its own cache. It's the equivalent of getting two microprocessors in one.
