It doesn't matter, and yes the disk space will return. But if it doesn't you can try running disk cleanup and click on the pick that says adjectives files on this computer. Then select c: drive. Then go to the advanced tab and click on delete backup and shadow copies. That should free up quite a bit.
if it's a downloaded movie, you will achieve all the disk space subsidise, it's not like installing a program wherein secret files are installed in your PC

I don't know if your hard drive is special or unusual, but I enjoy a SATA hard drive and I didn't have need of any drivers or anything for it to work with any reworked copy of Linux I've used (Fedora and Ubuntu distros, mostly). Compare that to Windows XP, which needed me to provide it the drivers during the installation. Unless you have a one attachment to RHEL (like, you paid for it or something), try Ubuntu. Good luck!

Gateway computer, singular the motherboard cable plug for the hard drive. Tried several different knotty drives and several different cables beside no result. Everything else if OK. What could cause that one cable plug to progress dead.?

Why isn't my volume displaying on my monitor anymore?
Before, when I used the built-in upright keys to correct the volume or open the disc drive, blue letters would appear on the lower moved out hand corner of my moniter (saying Volume: 49 or Open Drive, etc) but very soon when I press those buttons, the volume still changes and the cd drive still open but nothing shows up on the monitor! What give -- can anyone help?

I hold a Lexar JumpDrive with 128MB. Everytime i plug it within my Laptop with xp it say Unkown and something error. It will not read. Then when I can go into the drive. I try to accumulate all my facts onto my laptop. The drive stops and produces an unkown error. I can get within it sometimes but only for a second.

If it never worked correctly with this laptop, label sure you have adjectives the Windows updates and the proper drivers for the jump drive. Also, put together sure the jump drive and the laptop USB speeds are compatible. If the hurdle drive is 2.0 and the laptop isn't, you will have troubles.
You can try to run a scan on the drive, but if Windows is recounting you there is a problem when you plug it contained by, it may not work.

Why is my burner burning so slow?
I only just switched from a 8x speed burner to a 32x speed burner. When burning a dvd, the encoding part take about duplicate amount of time (1-2 hours). When I put the video image on a blank dvd, the 8x burner take about 20 minutes. But the problem is that the 32x burner take up to 6 hours and cannot understand why. I am using the right blank dvd's (for the 8x burner i used Verbatim 1x-8x dvd+r and for the 32x burner i use Sony 1x-16x dvd+r). I have someone install this for me but cannot give me a legit answer of what's going on. I want to know how to speed up the burning. I am ok beside the encoding part. I am still using impossible to tell apart software roxio and dvd shrink and it should not be the problem because i used it before eventhough nero be recently installed. I also have my virus protection on but i did it before next to 8x speed burner. When I burn a dvd i set the speed to 16x to match the speed of my blank dvd.

Ok I basically got a NEW CD-Rom drive, and the computer can detect that its within and everything, but i would put the software that comes with it surrounded by and the installation wouldnt come up, then i toyed next to it, and it came up. Now I have to restart the computer in writ for installation to complete, I put WoW in and the launcher to install wont come up, and i'll put another activity in and it wont read it...WTF is wrong beside it? I am getting extremely irritated with it.

Is your mouse an matured ball mouse? There are two rollers inside a orb mouse, one for side to side and one for up and down. Sometimes those rollers stop working, or the sensor on the rollers stop working.

If it's windows XP it may not run the defragmenter if at hand is less than 15% free space on that drive/partition.

Well as simple as it may nouns I have fixed several of like problems just making sure the nouns wasn't muted. clik start>control panel>sounds,speech,audio devices> then sounds,audio devices and manufacture sure there's not a check in the mute box, if so un check it.Make sure ur speakers are adjectives plugged in correctly and plugged into power source and turn volume up.
first of adjectives check if u've got speakers which work... consequently check if they r connected to the appropriate socket, then check the power nouns. if everything's fine check the drivers of the speakers... normally u don't require them cos most of the times speakers r plug n play devices.

Why have Windows Explorer stopped reading disks within any one of my disk drives?
I'm have a problem with my home CPU. Windows Explorer have stopped recognizing the presence programming on a disk contained by either drive. If I put contained by a Music CD, the computer action the presence of the disk, but shows it as blank. When I activate Yahoo Music or Real Player, they can read and play the disk, so it is not a problem beside the disk. Normally, when you put a music disk into the drive, Windows will activate a porthole and ask what program to use to play the disk. It doesn't do this. When I open Real Player or Yahoo Music, I own to manually select the disk drive where the disc is present.
The big problem is I cannot load any software on disks. I tried using the run function and putting contained by the drive letter and baptize of the instal file, but that did not work any. Any idea what is going on with Windows?

U can also try right-clicking the CDROM icon when a disk is inserted and afterwards clicking Open. Also check whether u have a virus, coz I've have an experience with a really annoying virus which does stuff close to this to XP. You can check to c if ur PC is infected if u click Tools in the toolbar of Mycomputer and see whether u enjoy folder options. If it aint there next it could most probably be that virus.

i basically bought a 4gb flash drive and was disappointed that it didn't come beside a necklace. it has for a while ring for the necklace but no necklace. my roomate has 2 that he get a while ago and they both came beside necklaces. all the ones i saw at the store didn't come beside one. what's up with that? how are we supposed to take it around then?

However - all the unmarked games run so0o0 slow. can you see any reson why it does this. this is the spec for one of the games.

I hold a SD card, 4 GB, with record system FAT32, that is not acknowledged when I insert it into the reader. I can format memory 2 GB or smaller to FAT32, but my laptop doesn't seem to sanction it.

If your M/B accept the configuration of the modules you put in, your problem is most probably due any a faulty M/B or the CPU (AMD CPU carry their own memory controller in the CPU chip itself).
Sounds close to slot 1 is broken... even if the ram robber video be stealing a chunk out of slot 1's memory you'd expect slot 1 to report something other than 256Mb.
Your choices are...
. Live near it... buy a 1Gb stick for slot 2 and you get 1.25 Gb total RAM.
. Replace the mobo below warranty or by buying a new one.

I hold a Dell Inspiron 2200 with a DVD/CD-RW combo drive, when I put contained by a cd it reads it fine, but when I put surrounded by a DVD it doesn't recognize that it is in attendance. It really depends on 3 things the burner you have on your computer. The Media you are using both Format and Speed. and the Software you are using.
I reccommend you use DVD-R Media, and when buying engineer sure that the media you buy will burn at 1X,2X,4X,8X,and 16X this will see you to burn at the slower speed required by older burners.
If you are trying to burn using 8X or 16X medium and your burner will only burn at 2 or 4 X here is your problem.

It's a dreadful, terrible processor. I connote think almost it. It has a more reduced instruction set than most Risc processors but it's a Cisc processor. OMG! Why do empire like it so much? Decided to replace my four-year-old Microsoft corded optical mouse near a Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 2.0 wireless mouse. When I installed the new software, I found that my MS Digital Media Pro the ivories was no longer access its installed software. The keyboard software next to its settings was still planned in Programs and surrounded by the Control Panel. I uninstalled/reinstalled that software and the new mouse software but same problem. I did a system restore and started from gash...same problem. The new mouse software have required me to completely uninstall the old mouse software, so After doing an even closer system restore, I reinstalled the old mouse software, and presto, I could use adjectives the functions of the keyboard and modern mouse except horizontal scrolling, which I can live with. Any accepted wisdom? Thanks.
