i would go to newegg.com and lay down a 500gig western digital ... u can get an antistatic decoration there to im sure ..

Forget those 2 timetabled check out...
1.Buy a drive that is interfacable beside your motherboard.

i.e. IDE,SATA etc.

I prefer MAXTOR which is owned by Seagate now.

But follow the rule of thumb...most shot for the buck.

2. You can purchase a ground strap from Radio Shack or any electronics supply company.
