Which one do i buy: pentium IV de 3.0 or Pentium Dual Core 1.8?
any should be just fine ... dualcore is nice but i would want a 2ghz one ...
Are you buying a modern processor or a new computer? If you are buying a current processor, buy the one your motherboard supports. If buying a new computer, I would run with the Dual Core as it is the newer technology.
procure the pentium Dual core as it has x2 cores (2 cpus built in2 1) (eg one saloon with 2 motors) thus giving you better concert so your total cpu output wont be 1.8 it will be 3.6ghz as the 2 cores will share the work
eg pentium iv ( open on the core you have) msn plain word open wmp plain core works hard for stability
very soon you have pentium d ( enlarge you have ) msn word wmp but because you enjoy 2 cores core one will do msn wmp n core 2 will do word internet
giving you more stability more power better performance
If you plan on using one program at a time most of the time progress with the IV de 3.0, but if you run multiple tasks and programs repeatedly at the same time the Dual Core will work much better for you.
